The mode of recruitment followed for filling up of various categories of posts in the Ministry is through examination conducted by SSC by direct recruitment and departmental promotion.  All concessions and relaxations viz. age relaxation etc. are being extended to the candidates belonging to OBC category in recruitment.  Roaster Register is maintained properly and kept up-to-date to ensure that requisite number of vacancies to be filled up by OBC Category.
