Main Activities

ESA Section mainly handles the following matters in respect of two autonomous bodies viz. V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, NOIDA (VVGNLI) and Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Workers Education and Development(DTNBWED) & one attached office viz. Labour Bureau. It is involved in following activities:

• Policy, administrative, vigilance matters
• Plan and Non-Plan Schemes
• Performance Budget, Outcome Budget
• Framing/Amendment of Recruitment Rules of various Posts
• Creation/Continuation and revival of Posts
• Budget matters, Audit/Internal Audit
• Parliament Questions, Court Cases,
• MP/VIP/PMO references etc.
