The Attached, Subordinate, Statutory/Autonomous Organisations of Ministry of Labour and Employment

Research Officer: He is the solitary officer in the DTNBWED, posted at IIWE,
Mumbai having research work on change/alteration/incorporation in the Syllabus/
Subject related to Workers Education and Labour laws for upliftment of workers
of both the sectors imparting training programmes of DTNBWED. In addition to
above he also does the role of Training Officer as and when required. Sometimes
he does proper liaisoning with various high level officers of organized sector
and state government planning and organizing the training programmes.

Assistant Director: He/she looks after the complete administration along with
DPC matters, general administration which comprises purchases of office
equipments for all offices, their correspondences etc. vigilance and court cases,
implementation of the official languages policy.
Accounts Officer: Responsible for the day-to-day Accounting transaction, audit
of Regional Directorates and supervision on maintenance of audit and accounts
activities etc. He heads the Accounting Division after the Financial Advisor of
the Board. The main duties attached to the posts, includes preparation of the
Annual Accounts and Budget of the Board. He performs the role of internal
auditor. He ensures timely release of funds to various offices and also monitors
the expenditure. He assists the external audit.

Zonal Director: Each Zonal Director supervises and maintains work related
to Administrative, General Administration, auditing and Accounts of 9 to 11
Regional Directorates under him. They are also monitoring the Training activities
of DTNBWED, timely submission of Reports and Returns, payment through
PFMS and DBT to the Beneficiaries.

Regional Director: He is the head of the Regional Directorates and has to perform
the role of Administrative head and also the function of DDO. They also have
to do proper liasioning with various high level officers of organized sector and
state government towards planning and organizing the training programmes.
He devises the training activities through his Education Officers in a planned
manner as per MOU executed between MoL&E and the Board.
