                3.11  Mapping of Offices

               Ministry has undertaken the task of digitally mapping all its offices including
               offices  of  subordinate/  attached/  autonomous  bodies  across  the  country  on  a
               customised Google map and on the website of the Ministry. The digital map
               includes all regional and zonal offices. A total of 3193 locations were mapped
               which can be seen through a digital map placed below.









                                                         Ministry has also developed a QR
                                                         Code  for  accessing  the  location
                                                         of  various  establishments/  offices
                                                         under the Ministry.

               3.11.1. Benefits of Mapping:
               Mapping the offices of the Ministry of Labour on a customised Indian google
               map has  provided numerous benefits, few of which are as under:-

               •     It allows for easy access to information about the location and functions
                     of each office. This is particularly useful for members of the public who
                     may need to visit one of the Ministry's offices but are not familiar with its
                     location or services offered.
               •     The  map  provides  directions  to  reach  a  specific  office  which  improve
                     coordination among the Ministry’s offices and helps in more efficient and
                     effective delivery of services to the public.
               •     It also aids in disaster management by providing real-time information on
                     the location of offices and their status during emergencies
