The job description of these posts is as under:
• Additional CPFC (Hqrs): Heads big 05 Zonal Offices and monitors the
functioning of Regional Offices under their administrative jurisdiction. At
Head Offices, they head a division and assists CPFC in discharge of his/
her duties. They are also act as Director of the training academy Pandit
Deendayal Upadhyaya National Academy of Social Security (PDNASS).

• Additional CPFC: Heads remaining 16 Zonal Offices and monitors the
functioning of Regional Offices under their administrative jurisdiction. At
Head Offices, assists Additional CPFC(Hqrs).
• Regional PF Commissioner – I: They are the in-charge of a Regional
Offices with more than 02 lakh contributory establishments. In Head
Office, Zonal Office and Training Academies, they assist Additional CPFC
(Hqrs)/ Additional CPFCs. Regional Offices performs original functions of
client servicing and enforcement of the statutory provisions.
• Regional PF Commissioner – II: They are either in-charge of a Regional
Offices with less than 02 lakh contributory establishments or they assist
RPFC-I in Regional Offices with more than 02 lakh contributory members.
In Head Office, they assist Additional CPFC (Hqrs)/ Additional CPFCs.
• Assistant PF Commissioner: They are either in-charge of District Offices
or they assist RPFC-I/ RPFC-II in Regional Offices.

• Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer: EO/ AO are posted in Field Offices
only. Enforcement Officer assists RPFC-I in compliance management and
Accounts Officer assist RPFC-I in maintenance and settlement of member
accounts.
• Sr. Social Security Assistant/ Social Security Assistant/ Lower Division
Clerk: Assists Section Supervisor in Field Offices.
