function as the member secretary of the Regional Board of the state.
3.8.3 Suvidha Samagam

In ESIC Suvidha Samagam is held by the Regional/Sub-Regional Offices on
‘second Wednesday (afternoon) of every month and on ‘Second Friday of every
month’ by DCBO/Branch Offices, to redress the grievances of Insured Persons/
Beneficiaries/Employers. Medical Superintendents of ESIC Hospitals situated in
the same city also participate in the Suvidha Samagam being organised by the
RO/SRO. Further, Director of ESI Scheme is also invited by the concerned RO, to
participate in the Suvidha Samagam. In addition Suvidha Samagam is also held
during special outreach campaigns viz. ESIC Special Fortnight celebrated every
year from 21st February to 10th March.

To promote convergence amongst different organisations, it has also been
decided to hold Suvidha Samagam with Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 of EPFO on 27th
of every month, so that grievances of workers/Insured Persons can be redressed
in the same forum.
